Has anybody lowered or tried to lower their 2nd gen. intrepid, somdbody told me that if I lower my car any more I run the risk of cracking my axle because these suspensions cannot handle being lowered.

yes they can be lowered, some have done this mod over at the 300M site. go to there posting site on Edmunds.com townhall area and search Chrysler 300M ,log on and post your question ,they will be happy to help you
