and adding some of mine, but not without first thanking everybody. It was my first Ohio Meet, and I truly enjoyed it. Shawn (cokey11) pointed out that I didn't do anything to/on my car at the meet. Well, let me tell you, I might not have done anything to it right then and there, but I found several things that I absolutely, positively MUST have done to my car in the near future..... On to the pictures:

On of my favorites at the meet: Tooch926's 300M

I blew by him on US 23 between Ann Arbor and Toledo. I was even thinking: I don't know what color car he drives, wonder if it is him.... and it was: Chewievette motor building and re-building genius, and his special friend (I am sorry, old age prevents me from remembering names too well....). Great as it was with many others to put a face to a name:

Here is 'the other Avenger' (v.v. Rob..). Kyle (Megatrep) brought this down from Wisconsion. Nice car, great condition:

As someone pointed out, apparently one of the reasons for the problems that the automobile industry has: 1 guy working, at least 6 supervisors.... and the guy working is on double time AND weekend pay AND works ssssslllllooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy:

and here even more rampant evidence of the above:

and one of the biggest and best reasons for attending the Ohio Meet: the MEAT.... It is NOT a good place to be a vegetarian..... I must have gained at least two pounds today

Count me in for the next time. This is a MUST event if you are living within a 8 hrs or so driving distance....

Next meet I may try to come. Its almost 1200miles for me...but i think it'd be worth it.
Now THAT would be a feat absolutely worthy of the long distance award AND a special place in the chow line if you drive that far for the meet.... and if you end up flying into any of the surrounding airports, I am certain one of us would come pick you up. It is worthy to attend, let me tell you...

lol i would definitely have to save up for that trip...240+ for gas then food expenses and the inevitable parts that i pick up at the meet lol. How much does a plane ticket run nowadays? I'm sure it won't be much different than gas and then i wouldn't be driving for close to 16-20 hours.

Had a great time, thanks for the cd cable Cokey and Marty for the speaker grills. Art and Duds did a wonderful job on my projectors, thanks to both of you guys. It was nice to meet everyone, we are going to have to get together again so I can really remember all the names.

Damn. I wanted to go but couldn't make it this weekend. These meets are only once per year?
Sigh....

Dan, aren't you holding another in June? Maybe i can make that one! Any ideas what time in June?
We generally have 4 or 5 per year, here, not to mention the other Ohio meets that go on.

Look for the next one here in the end of June, most likely the last or next to last weekend. Ill post a thread when I know the exact date.
