can i use the '93 ES 3.5l engine in '96 3.5l Intrepid? i realize that the timing belt and water pumps are different and stuff. are the transmissions the same too? is there a way to tell by the numbers on the transmissions? thanks J
Everything is the same, except for what you have already mentioned.
Also, starting in 1995/6 the 3.5L had slightly lower compression to aid in fuel economy, but that won't pose a problem in a direct swap, you'll just have to be sure to use the reccomended 89 octane feul.
Does anyone know where to find a free pdf download of the owner's manual for the 1996 Chrysler Concorde LX 3.3L? I've a hard copy, but would like a digital copy as well. If you know where to find one, please share. Thanks! Rev. D.
I am keeping the concord! This is just our other car. It's 110,000 mile 2003 4.0L WJ. I am trying to find best jeep forum to join - and being Mopar people any advice would be great!
BTW it has a noise at startup that goes away once warmed up a few minutes...
