My Concorde is shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear. Just started today and it only shifts hard once warmed up. It did this once before and went away, but now it seems that once it warms it does it. There was a big snow storm today and it required me to push the car a lot, the hard shift started once I got out of the snow and drove to work.
I checked the trans fluid it dropped, I know the cooler lines are leaking so I have been keeping an eye in the fluid, but haven't check in couple weeks since it wasn't dropping that quickly my mistake.
Anyways with the engine hot, the fluid doesn't reach the first hole for the hot range it is in the warm range. How much ATF can I add without adding too much?
Do you think there will have been permanent damage? The car was driven less then 10km with this hard shift.
Thanks,
Leon
