My name is Andrew, I am 19 and I am the proud owner of a 1995 Dodge Intrepid ES. Fully loaded with the 3.5L engine.

New pictures as promised...

The first major expense/upgrade I did to the car was replace the AC Compressor. It was a pain in the butt to install but I got it done with some help.

The next big thing that happened with my car is that at 116,405 miles the timing belt broke and the engine massivly overheated. New parts included: head set, head bolts, timing belt, water pump, right and left side cam gears, crank gear, tensioner pulley assembly, tensioner, serpentine belt, gasket, and a used fuel rail. On August 22, 2005, three weeks and $2,871.55 later my car was good as new. (I now expect this car to run for a very long time.)

Installed new headlights and replaced all bulbs with silver stars (fogs and headlights).

May 10, 2006 I put on four Focal 17x7 Rims. Wrapped in Yokohama Avid Touring TRZ tires.

The first week of July 2006 I ended up replacing the passenger side ball joint (control arm) and putting in new Inner tie rod bushings. What a horrible job to do, but I got it done and the car handles amazingly.

Right around the end of December 2006 I upgraded the sound system in the car. I had the stock amplifier bypassed and now am running Infinity Reference 5012i speakers in the front and Infinity Reference 9612i speakers in the rear. I also added an Alpine SWE-1242 12" Subwoofer paired with the Alpine MRP-M450 Amplifier. The sound is incredible. I actually do prefer it over the Bose in our Nissan Murano.

Come April 2007 I had to have the inner tie rod bushing replaced. I cheaped out previously and only did one side, so inevitable the other side went bad. Learn and live I guess. I had this professionally done to avoid the hassle again. Also I had to have the drivers front wheel hub assembly replaced.

Around the end of June 2007 I took the plunge and got satellite radio. I went with Sirius and wouldn't go back. Of course I had to have a new cd receiver as well for two reasons. I wanted a clean install with no wires and I also wanted a newer deck. I ended up with a Pioneer DEH-P7800MP and am very happy with it.
