I retired my Intrepid and bought a 2007 5.7 liter Chrysler 300C with 78500 miles.
I was browsing through a forum for 300 owners when I ran across this post.
It is about a program for the PC, that works with obd2 adapters that can not only read codes, but allow you to tweak some features. (sadly, does not list Intrepids as supported.)
Users of that forum shut off the tire pressure system using this program, and from what I saw in posted pics, it seems like even ABS could be disabled.
That might come in handy, when you have an issue, and your car is due for inspection, but you just can't find the problem.
OR, if you are like me, and just want the tire pressure system to go away.

OBDII Programming including TPMS disable - Chrysler 300C Forum: 300C & SRT8 Forums

I thought that someone here might be able to use this.
It works with multiple Chrysler/Dodge vehicles.
The program owners site has a listing of the supported vehicles.

It appears to be for CAN Bus vehicles only.

$49 but appears to be tied to a single vehicle only as a VIN number is used for the installation of the software.

Can it be used for Diagnostics on multiple vehicles? (See above).

Do you actually own this and have used it?

I do not have it yet, but from the posts, several people at the 300C forum do have it and it worked for them.
I've been reading a lot of posts in other forums about it, and it is looking like everyone loves it.

Here is a link that takes you directly to posts in other forums where it is being discussed. People are talking about all kinds of options that they have been able to enable and disable using this program, but so far they have only referenced its use on a single vehicle. For the price, since I won't be working on many other vehicles, it's worth it just to work on the 300C.
i just have to wait for my tax money to come in, because the 300 ate all of my available spare cash.
Unless someone comes along and buys my Intrepid.

I'd be curious if it would allow you to program remotes to the WCM. Not Sentry keys but if it could do that it would be a big bonus.

Post again when you get it and let me know if it has any of those options. Or at least what it does have.

If you watch that video on the fist links page on a pc screen, full screen, you can see a lot of what it can do as they go through different sections of the program.
The ability to change your vehicles tire size would be useful for a lot of people.

Here is the video

I checked the purchase page, and the software is tied to a specific Vin code.
Still, if someone has one as a project car, it could save them a fortune, and it's diagnostic tools look very useful.
When I do get it, I may try to hook it up to the intrepid just to see if it works for trouble codes.

Funk videos. If a company isn't willing to document their product enough they can KMA!

You can deal with buying the "Unknown".

I know these guys can't document every Year/Model/Trim Level vehicle but they should be able to at least provide a Generic list of options that "Might" be available. After all they're dealing with FCA automobiles only and not a number of manufacturers.

I don't deal with the retarded Youtube stuff as that's exactly what it is...Retarded. Good Documentation is key to a solid product and videos don't count as Documentation.

And it's only going to be "Modern" CAN-Bus vehicles.

LH cars need not apply on this. Nor many other FCA earlier series cars.
