My A/C doesnt work, and really, the car isn't worth the cost of fixing it. The temp guage never reads high but I find opening the hood it makes a lot more heat than any other car I've had. Since the A/C doesn't work anyway, I was wondering if I could remove the smaller black rad that is infront of the rad for the engine and if gettign rid of that would improve the efficiency of the real radiator.

That piece is the condenser for the A/C, you can remove it it with no problems but i would plug the system to keep moisture out of it. It may help, but i couldnt tell you for sure. when i put mine back on to get the AC to work, it made it cooler, so its your choice.
