Well driving home last night, (why does this always happen firday night?) just about all the way home the engine just died on the highway. The engine would crank, but it sound like somthing wasnt right, it seemed like it was cranking really fast. Ive had problems with the camshaft sensor before, so I took it out to inspect, and it seems okay.
I think the timing belt may be gone, since the wheel the camshaft sensor uses to pick up what cylinder is firing doesn't spin while the engine is being cranked, meaning the camshafts arent moving, meaning the timing belt snaped...
Am i right here? is there an easy way to check the belt? Is my thinking correct?
