Has anyone installed some aftermarket guages due to the lack of them with the intrepid. I love my guages and would like to add a voltmeter and oil pressure guage. I was hoping to find a pillar pod or a dash pod for over the message center. Any suggestions would be great.

When I bought my gauge (oil) I got an Autometer. I used a VDO pod and then I connected to right where the light connected.I teed It off so Ihave both. Well I had it done, so i am not sure where it is on the engine.

OK, but I didn't understand any of that except someone else did it for you.

ok this is how I did it. Normally I do my own work but I was getting lazy. I mounted the gauge on the A piller and ran the wires behind the plastic. Connected the hot and ground and ran the wire out to the sender. At the sender( where the wire of the idiot light connects)I(they) took it off and put in a brass tee. Then I(they) attached the idiot light to one side and the new gauge sending unit to the other so both get a signal. :D I hope this helps
