Thanks for the useless link, but was there anything that prompted this, or did you just wanna share?

And why would anyone click on the top link, and give away their personal information (as well as their money)-- when they could just go right to the source and get it?

That first site you posted seems sorta like a scam to me. I don't like being scammed. Don't scam, is the lesson at hand.

Old news, damn open office has been around since redhat hit the street.

Some companies offer their product for sale to get ether support, manuals and make it easier for people that are still stuck with dial-up.

Yeah, but you're still downloading it from that site... they're just giving you what's in the pic (wouldn't count on that anyways) and charging you what I've pasted below. I'd bet they redirect after that page too-- to avoid hosting the actual files.

3 year Unlimited VIP Membership for only $49.95 $11.67/year (Best Value!)
2 Year Full & Unlimited Access for only $17.49/year
1 Year Unlimited Access for only $2.49/month

Supercharge my Internet connection with the award winning Download
Accelerator for only $14.95 and download up to 300% faster!
Then there's their WhoIs listing. What do they have to hide if they're actually from the OO team. Nope, definitely scamworthy.

Also, thanks mralex714 for editing that link out. Wouldn't want any not-so-tech-saavy DI-ers being fooled like that.

Sun Micro has open office.. http://why.openoffice.org/ opensource (free)
I can't use it as I am in IT industry and no company I've supported uses this one. Everything is Microsoft Office. It use to be Lotus SmartSuite late 90's.
The only thing Open Office does not support as of right now is MS Office 2007 or whatever the newest one is. It supports everything else just fine. Never had any problem. Shoot I found out by my IT professor and he has been in the IT industry for a really long time.
