I should have a new 2002 Dodge Stratus Sedan equiped with D-C's 2.7 V6 by the end of the month. It seems that since the Stratus crowd has only had this engine for one previous model year, they haven't done much with it yet. I was just wondering if any Intrepid owners had, seeing as how you've had it since '98.

I see most of you use the bigger 3.x engines. Can't blame ya. But any input will be greatly appreciated.

I ahve the 2.7L and I got a new intake put on it a while back. I don't have any pictures of it and I didn't put it on myself. I assisted in the installation. They are instructions on how to make it in the How-To section.
I got a really sweet growl out of the engine anywhere above 3500RPM. And a noticable amont of power increase. I really like it. The first night I had it I went through a half a tank of gas cause I kept reving it so high just to hear the growl. I couln't get enough of it.

and there is always the tried and true K+N filter upgrade, same filter for the 2.7 as the 3.2

K+N filter upgrade is about the only thing I'm gonna do to my 2.7L for now. there's not much to do unlike the 3.3L-3.5L.
