I am considering getting some sort of silver brushed alluminum dash kit... or maybe silver carbon fiber.

Does anyone have this installed in their car... preferably 2nd gen?

Im not too interested in wood looking trim, as I do not think it will match well with my silver car.

Pls post any pics or a link to a website that has the pics.

Well, no one has tried them on an Intrepid yet, and I don't have the money right now to.....but here they are:

They are made for the 300m, yet we're pretty sure the mirrors are the same (except that we don't have heated mirrors).

Had seen those. Was hoping that someone had found some others. BTW Intrepid 99, I see you did do the sunroof - in both cars? - Any suggestion for brand names?

Sunroof in my 99 is factory. The one in my 98 was aftermarket. It was a Hollandia (something like that). I had it done a Ziebart, they did a good job. The only problem that bothered me, was that the glass did not follow the curve of the roof of the car, it was a little flatter. No one else noticed unless I pointed it out, but it really started bothering me (I'm sure you all know how that goes). It didn't leak or anything.

Also, it was a power sunroof that opened inside the car (as opposed to over the top of the car like GM's).

Actually the chrome handles like the 300m would probably be a nice upgrade. Any idea on where to get those... besides the junkyard of course?

I should probably remove that from my signature (haven't updaed it in a while), but when I had to replace the power lock motor in my front passenger door, I decided to check how easily the handles could be changed. Unfortunately, it would not be an easy task. The handle can not be easily removed from the assembly tat it is connected to, and that part is melted to the entire door panel.

In order to get the handle assembly out, you would have to break it out from the panel, then remove the handle itself. Once replacing the handle, you will have to try and melt the whole assembly correctly to the panel again.

Not somehing I feel like taking on...

I didn't know you had an aftermarket sunroof in your 98. How much did Ziebart charge you and how long did it take?

$270 for a couple of lights and modified mirror glass? WTF!?!?!? Signal mirrors are pretty neat, but I'm not paying $300 for them. That is a complete rip off! We should explore options to do this ourselves.

I like the cars that have the actual light mounted below the mirrors. I think they are on German sedans.
