Hey, does anyone know if there's anything that might be happeneing in his life right now that would make it difficult to complete a sale? I ordered a set of leather seats from him last december for $335 and haven't received them yet. He has been unresponsive to any of my attempts to contact him through PMs or IMs since april of this year. Kris, if you read this, I don't care if it takes more time to send them, I just want to know what's going on. If you can't send the seats I would like a refund. 4 months without an update is a little much, don't you think?

I have a serious idea. Is there any way we can create a forum strictly to discuss problems with deals? It would prevent everyone from getting angry about a thread being started because it would be in its own private section. It could be moderated to ensure that only relevant information is posted, and so that no flame wars are started. This could also work as a sort of feedback system so if someone is interested in dealing with someone they can look to see if they have had any complaints against them. The moderator could even review the evidence on both sides and then make a suggestion for a resolution or a decision on who is at fault before closing the thread. Then in the future, people could see what the moderator's opinion was to determine if the seller really did rip the buyer off or if the complaint was untrue. This would prevent someone's reputation from being ruined by somebody publicly accusing them without grounds to do so. I think this would really help people feel better about trusting a seller and also prevent a fair seller from getting unfairly labeled as a scammer.

For example, I'll use smc1377 & badasstrep because they're the last 2 posters I saw.
Say Andrei bought something from Sander and he received the item and there was nothing wrong with it but Sander made fun of Andrei's mother so now he is pissed. Andrei openly accuses Sander of being a crook to get revenge, even though it is untrue. Now somebody comes along and sees that Sander is selling some parts but fears buying them because of the accusations. This is unfair to both Sander and the potential buyer who could have gotten a good deal but is now afraid to due to Andrei's false accusations. Had somebody talked to both Andrei and Sander, and Sander was able to show proof that he sent the package and Andrei couldn't prove that there was something wrong with the item, the moderator could decide that Sander did not scam Andrei and could post this to restore Sander's reputation as an honest(albeit unkind towards people's mothers) seller.

I apologize for the long post but I just drank a ton of coffee and I'm a little wound up. I've been thinking about how great it would be to have some type of dispute resolution and everytime I see one of these posts and don't know who to believe I think about how much better it would be to buy and sell on this site with an avenue to discuss problems. I know everybody gets upset when someone creates one of these threads but I think I'd be tempted to do the same thing when all other forms of contact fail. I'd be willing to moderate the disputes as well if people think this is a good idea. What do you guys think??? Again, sorry for my rant!!!!

Man if I bought something off someone 8 months ago, and still didn't have it, I'd be paying them a little visit. That's ****in stupid.

not the first time with blurple or with this situation for that matter. eliminate B/S/T altogether and problem is solved. quite drastic, but just a suggestion. OR di.net could only allow paid members to use the B/S/T forum and possibly collect a surcharge on the transaction since the site is already having money issues. just another thought.
on another hand, people who have scammed or whatever should not be allowed to sell on this site again. JMO.

To defend the B/S/T section and to help others I have had this thread stickied for quite some time, with hopes that it would help people in protecting themselfs from this kind of situation.

Other than that, alot of people complained to me about deleting blurples threads that have had other complaining. So I have kept them up but locked so people could read and make their own judgement about doing bussiness with him.

might as well get rid of ebay and craiglist with that logic.
Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I've bought most of the parts for my car from members. I got great deals and I was able to find stuff that would be really hard to find elsewhere. The few members I've dealt with have been great and I'd really hate to see B/S/T go away just because of a few clowns.

U know my opion from how it works on other sites is the B/S/T should all be done in public. For instance

I have something to sell say a light buld I would need to take the picture with the site name dinet and the current date. when listing for sale you need to put a price on it and thats it no barganning just straight up selling of course personal info would be done thru Pm. Same way they do it on other boards i have ventured off to

That doesnt mean anything tho its just like paypal. if you do it in the open then there knowledge for all to see and then have the EXACT facts on the sale. Thus giving you the information first hand as to what kind of seller your dealing with and a open history of that seller.
