Ok, here is the situation. I called paxton to ask them if the novi 100 supercharger that they make for the 2000-2001 prowler would fit on my 2002 Intrepid es. Here is what they said. They told me that it would not work even though they somewhat have the same engine. They told me that even though they both have a 3.5, one is a "north" engine and one is a "south" engine.

What is the difference between a north engine and a south engine?
Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Paxton also said that it is a pricey venture if I bought is and it didn't work.

I don't know Crash, maybe they mean the tb on ours is at the back, and the tb for the Prowler is at the front. That's the only thing I can think of.

That can't be it because according to the paxton supercharger install manual for the prowler has the tube going into the same TB in the back.

Paxton is blowing it out of their ass.

Both cars use a lognitudnally mounted engine, in other words, its mounted the exact same frickin' way!

They got their terms ****ed too.

A "north-south" engine is one that is mounted like ours, where as most FWD cars use a transverse or "east-west" mounting.

That's what I thought LHSer, but I was confused. Maybe they just don't want thier products on a grocery-getter?
