In a auto class i had said that Atf +4 is does everything that +3 does but is better. what matters is is it atf or not and if your car takes +3 don't put in +2.
ATF+3/ATF+4
The new Tranny fluid out there is the ATF+4 spec. Required on all chrysler trannys 2000 or newer. anyone know if it does any good in the pre 2000 trannys? I am having the shop that is re-building my tranny goto the dodge dealer specially to get the Mopar brand fluid. Just want to know if I should tell him to get the ATF+4 right away......
