Auto Stick in 2000 model (airbag light)

Is it just a matter of dropping in the cluster and shifter, and running the wires? Or do I need to get a new TCM that is AS enabled? I keep reading different things. I read that only the 98 needs an AS enabled TCM, but then I read that the '02 started with the PCM/TCM combo, which means that the 2000 would then have them seperate, but I read nothing about that needing a new AS enabled TCM.

Also, on a random question, this guide (http://www.dodgeintrepid.net/howto/second/OTISinstallation/OTISInstall2.gif) mentions terminal connector crimps for the PCI bus. Does anyone know what these are called and where I can get some?

EDIT: Scratch that, I found the answer to the first question. Still looking for those pesky terminal crimps though.

This is what he's referring to for a terminal connector (Crimp).

I thought so, but nothing I could find at radio shack even came close to small enough to fit in that pci bus.

Home Depot or Lowes. etc will have them. Radio Shack is no longer for the DIY crowd.

OK so I dropped in the cluster, and the airbag light, brake light, and ABS light are now showing. I don't have ABS so I'm assuming that's why the brake and ABS are lit, and I can just tape over them. However, why is the Air Bag on? The cluster I got is from a 99, I have a 2000, I was under the impression those were compatible. Will the airbag still go off even with the light on?

I checked for fault codes with my phone, none showed up.

EDIT: Autostick does work though, and for some reason my fuel gauge now works below a quarter of a tank again..I'd hate to part with this cluster.

Double post, but I'm pretty confident there's no cheap way to get this work, thankfully I can just return it. Trying to figure out what I do need to get though. I bought it from eBay, guy said he pulled it out of a 99 Trep. Do I need to find one from a 2000 only? And will a 300 cluster work? Or was the guy probably just wrong?

EDIT: Would this work?

I believe all 300m came with ABS so using one of those clusters will still give you the warning lights like the cluster you just tried.

The parts catalog for 2000 shows the US Intrepid cluster as 04760409AG

Here's a collection of them on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=470409ag&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X04760409ag&_nkw=04760409ag&_sacat=0

If any of them came from a car with ABS you're back to the same problem. The dealer can reprogram a cluster to get rid of the ABS warning lights. It'll cost you though!

Don't know why you had an Airbag warning light.

ABS isn't the problem, I can take that bulb out. Losing the break light is a minor loss, but I'm not super concerned about that. As long as the airbag one isn't on, I can convince myself I don't need the brake one. :p

I nabbed one for $24 with free shipping. thanks for the part number, didn't occur to me to check that. Now just to find the shifter and bezel.
