Ok, I followed the dirctions for hooking up the OTIS today and nearly killed my electrical system. I have 4 wires coming out out the OTIS which are purple/yellow, pink, black/green and blue/white. I pulled the black/green wire and purple/yellow and plugged them into the fuse block into the exact same spots as where they came out of the donor car's harness (at least I think I did-can't remember what wire went where but I looked at the donor harness and it seemed correct). I just plugged them into the same spot on MY harness. I then spliced the pink (from the overhead) to the pink on My harness and the blue/white (from the overhead) to the same wire on my harness and the next thing I know 1/2 my guages aren't working (fuel reading empty, check engine light on, airbag light on, etc) the odometer on the dash is reading "no bus" and the disc player is not working either. What I need to know is when I splice the pink and blue/white wires near the fuse box-I make the cut and now I have 1 wire out of my existing harness, the other wire from the overhead and the other end of the cut wire from my original harness. Do I hook up the pink wire and blue/white wires from the overhead to the wire still attached to my fuse block (original wire) or do I hook all three free ends to together? The other question in what slots do I put the purple/yellow and black/green wire. The strange thing is when I hooked up using the donor car's harness straight I was able to get it work but I lost the sunroof and the rear reading lights. I yanked the wiring and rehooked up my existing wires so only the sunroof and lights are working but not the display. I have to use the overhead console to cover the hole in the headliner. HELP!!!!
