hey guys,

I'm probably going to purchase a Motorola iHF1000 car kit for my RAZR. The iHF1000 supports a mute output for compatable HU's. Does the stock HU have a 'mute input'?

My first thought is 'No', but I'm not sure. 2001 Infinity HU with Cass and CD Changer controls. The system is all aftermarket after the HU.

I know if you get an alpine deck you can bluetooth thru it with the kca-100bt - IMO it would be easier so you dont have xtra crap stuck to your dash etc

that's the great thing about the iFH1000. the only thing on the dash is the controller which is about 1.5" x 3". the rest is under the dash.

I built my system around a stock HU, amp in the trunk, speakers in oem locations.

Unfortunately there is no mute input on the stock radio.

with an alpine unit it would just be the replacement deck, and nothing extra showing....
