jabra makes a headset for non-bluetooth phones, it works very well except that you need to answer the call on the phone and not on the headset...

the great thing is that if you end up getting a bluetooth phone, you can use it with that as well without plugging in the adapter.

AT&T and T-Mobile have a nice Ericsson model available with the blue tooth technology. Now Acura, Mercedes and other brands are also coming out with this option, so I expect the choices to start growing.

I don't really understand what you are asking.

Did you get some bluetooth adapter installed in your car(like the Uconnect)?

If so, it should be easy to use it with a bluetooth phone. I own the Nokia N-Gage which is sold in North America and is bluetooth. My wife has the Nokia 6600, which is also bluetooth, but not sold here. Once you have a compatible phone, you can just leave it wherever in the car(like the glove box) and do everything through the Uconnect.

i can answer my phone without touching the phone with my jabra headset. all i have to do is say "answer" or touch the little button on the headset itself. works great. i can even voice dial, and never touch my phone at all

well i've got a phone without bluetooth and i use the one with an adapter... it doesn't allow you to answer the phone from the headset, however since my phone is also a pda, i'm working on finding a bluetooth adapter.

Now I have a mikes (nextel for the americans) cell phone for business and hope that there will be an adapter/tongel for it soon to adapt it for bluetooth since Canada is sooooo far behind and as far as all carriers see fit not for another many years.

The cell phone technology in the US is light years ahead of anything we have here. DUAL colour displays? WTF?

i work for t-mobile. we sell several bluetooth phones as well as several bluetooth headsets. i personnally have a motorola v600 phone and motorola 180 headset. both work great. we also have the sony ericsson t610, nokia 6600 phones and jabra and sony ericsson headsets all bluetooth. within the last few weeks i have sold v600s to customer with acura tl cars. you can sync them together and just say the number you want to call in the car. its really sweet.
