BRAKE LIGHT TOGGLE SWITCH (ON/OFF)

hey i have heard of people putting toggle switches on the brake light cable and i was wondering how to do it.i have a 1993 dodge intrepid es if htat matters at all. for those of you unfamiliar. you cut the cable that makes the brake lights turn on when the pedal is pressed and insert a switch so if someone is following yuou at night and you want to lose them, you can flip the switch and the brake lights wont turn on (giving away your postion) See, i just dont exactly know what to do in order for this to work. THANKS :confused:

It's suppose to turn out the brake lights..??

Mine drops a bunch of caltrops out from under the bumper...I must have hooked it up to the wrong wire. Darn it!
