As you some of you already know, I totalled my truck recently. Well, its paid off completely and im now in the market for a new ride.

Is there anyone with a active CarFax account that can do me the favor, and run 3VWPB81H8XM216002 ? Its to a VW Jetta, I wanna see how that cars history is looking. If anyone can do it, please send the results to my PM... thank you =D

Do yourself a favor, and stay away from VW's.
I second that emotion :beerchug:

VWs are notorious for electrical failures; my 2000 Beetle had 6 failures in 3 years. :LAME:

Furthermore, the electrical parts are way too expensive.

As far as Trytic's 99 VW Jetta Wolfsburg goes, its clean. Everything looks good, it's only had one owner. I tried running your vin Luisa, it said it was an invalid vin. Just check it again to make sure you got the vin right and it's no problem running it again.

2b3hd56jo(or "0" zero)yhl (or "i", or "L", or "1")90(Zero.or "O")833

The numbers above can be either or, since my dash states it just like that, you may have to swap a zero for the letter "O", same for the letter L,i,and 1, etc..., the dealer had to play with it a couple of times to come up with the valid VIN #, ;), thanks bud!, you can PM ME the results bro!< ;) thanks again!

Ok, I know it took me a day or two to get everyones vin checked but here are the results: Primetime- the last mileage reported when it went to the yard is 66,523, mnitetrain- everything is good on your vin, and Luisa- everythign is also good on ur vin. By the way Luisa after many tries I finally got your vin figured out, it is 2B3HD56J0(as in zero)YH190833. If anyone else needs a vin checked just let me know on here or by message. :smiley_ab

ditto on that one. few years ago i worked at AZ delivering parts to shops. one jetta caught fire while refueling. lady owner freaked and screamed, i ran and pulled the truck away from her car. gast attendant told lady after he put out fire that she should consider a toyota or something.
