Yeah y`all know I dont own a 2gen, but my Mother-in-law does, an ES, sometimes the car wont start until the third try... I was going to have a look into it for her tonight but I was wondering if any of y`all homey`s in here might know of any weaknesses or problems like this with a 1st year production 2gen ES?

does it crank and then refuse to start, or does the starter not even turn over? could be sick corrosion on the battery terminals.

Hey 97, it turns over, just doesnt ignite.... Someone mentioned it could be a computer problem

Could be something wrong with the starter.
Ignition switch?
Bad battery?

If you turn and nothing happens... just "clicks" that happened to me. My dealer said broken wire to the starter. Minor problem supposedly. I would get this fixed ASAP as you can get stranded if it decides to not start at all.
