We use the same thing on all our company cars (Profit, I think is the brand) It's the only way to go. Looks clean plus it gets the phone up where you can use it. Mines wide enough to mount my Nokia car kit plus my iPaq mount.

They make one for about every type of car. But they ream you for them, I think we pay $30 for the Profit's.

Very similar to mine. I ran a cord from the center consol outlet under my console for it. That way I don't have to keep the ashtray open and use that plug. Brought the wire up with the wires for my phone kit. The mount is spring loaded and does a good job holding the iPaq in place.

I rest my cell phone inside one of the cup holders. Sometimes it does slide out around sharp turns though.

I had my dealer install the Mopar CellPhone mount... I just said "I would like a cellphone holder" I think it was $115 Canadian installed. I was in for a surprise when I got the car back.. the thing has MOTORIZED gripping arms to hold the cellphone..

To release it you press a button on the side and it quick-releases.. It is powered off of the lighter. It also includes a power plugin for the phone as well. I was like Fn cool!! The only downside is sometimes my passenger (if they have long legs), their knee might brush up against the button and cause it to release. The mounted it exactly where the picture showed.

Mr. OttawaRT2K1

Glad to see another Ottawan on the board. Thought I'd be the only one around forever. As you are aware, there are not alot of RTs on the road around here. The only red one I saw was on the lot of Southbank Dodge. Is that where you got your from?

Hey, yours is older than mine. I picked mine up March 31st, so it hasn't seen snow yet, except at the dealer. Oh, the snow. My poor black beauty.
Anyhow, maybe one of these days we could meet up. I'm trying to find other posters in our area.
