I bought some Champion wires and want to change them. The driver sides look easy...the passenger side seem like a tight fit to feed them through the back firewall side. Do I need to remove the top engine cover (ie the aluminum top with 3.3L stamped into it) and air intake hose..or can it be done simply by threading the passenger wires through the rear section of the engine?. Thanks

You shouldn't have to remove anything. Feel free to remove the airbox hose if you want a little more room but its not really necessary.

Just be careful of the EGR tube when you route the plug wires.

Yup, pretty much thread one through at a time. Make sure you put some wiring shroud/covering on them to protect from the egr tube and heat.
