seeing the eaton gen V M90 on ebay for a few hundo, from GM's 3.8L motor.

thinking of custom fabbing an intake plenum, move the sensors to the post boost area, custom intake, dome the hood, stand alone boost controller.
having the serp belt come up the side from the alternator, as the water outlet is in the middle, maybe a charge cooler.

any one have thoughts?

Been wanting to supercharge one for a long time; use an LX 3.5 kit; the charger itself would bolt up to the 3.2/3.5; lots of other mods would be needed; and; its not cheap lol.

im also the retard that sank $9000 into a $4000 car. haha, but I keep up with real cars now.

id spend more $ @ the fab shop having them mill out an intake adaptor plate.
im thinking less than a grand or its not worth it.
yeah, I've looked at those; fab work would be a bit crazy;

I'd do a V8 swap before spending $4500 on the LX supercharger kit; honestly. If an LS1 can be stuffed into an RX-8 surely a Hemi can be made to work in an Intrepid.

there is that one guy on youtube with the V8Rwd trep.

I couldn't make it road legal with a V8 though, even with no smog check. a blown 4.0L stroker though? totally legal. and I wouldn't buy the LX kit, I've got too many speed shops near me in salt lake city. id just hire them out for making the parts (intake adaptor and TB /sensor adaptor??), not assembling or anything extra.

I guess the only way to tell is to see what they say.:rofl:

Id likely buy a wrecked Charger Hemi and meld it into the Intrepid.

Several years ago did some measuring and checking; its quite possible; can even add the Charger rear suspension and rear frame assembly with some fab work on the body mounts.

Tranny tunnel is already there. From that guy on youtube and others, we know a V8 fits up front. LOL.

I'd make it like it came factory that way.

Sort of my dream if my 3.2 ever were to blow up. But it wont. Just keeps going. LOL.

I think this is a great Idea. If you have someone who can fabricate a plenum all you would really need are cooler plugs and larger injectors Tidalwave uses the stock injectors for a Neon SRT4 for four pounds of boost. They are plug and play for the injectors in the LX with the 3.5. If you wanted more boost you would need a tune and A2 Speed is able tune PCMs for the Gen 2 LH cars.
