My dad has one...I'll ask where he got it from. If I remember correctly, it was a few hundred dollars and works on any make/model car.

It hooks up to the car and his laptop and shows any warnings/problems/codes (even codes that will not show up when you do the key thing to find out codes).

I test drive the 99 home and scanned it before i bought it. No problems at all

cept i've been told my 95 isn't odb2.. bah.. could this mean they make a chip fer it?

Those files are just examples. They have been taken from real cars, and saved so that you can preview the results in the software. You do not need any extra files to connect the interface to a dodge vehicle.
