BTC909 is right, tightening the tranny would give us alot more performance. Even the 2.7
The one I had would rev her ass off but if left in 'D' you lost way too much time (rpm) while the tranny finally downshifted. I would always take it out of drive and go to 3 whenever I needed extra punch.

It made a big difference but god I think of torqueflites and you know mopar is capable of beefing these tranny's up for performance. I just wish someone would do it.

I think the performance potential of the cars would really take a step up with the same engines.

I faxed Kenne Bell last week about their chip for the '01 R/T. It won't be available for 30 to 60 days. Final HP and Torque numbers will be advertised after dyno tests are complete. Turnaround time is 1 to 2 days (you send them your computer). It will require 92 octane minimum gas and it will not void the warrenty. I'll be getting one when released.

Like I said I may have a Chrysler tranny mechanic that may have already done this. Just need to scrape up some cashola.
