From leftlanenews.com:

Chrysler to halt Crossfire production ?

Production of the Chrysler Crossfire roadster and coupe could be on the verge of being halted, according to a report by AutoExpress. However, a Chrysler spokesperson wasn’t so pessimistic. The representitive said Chrysler will certainly reduce output, but “this doesn’t mean we are looking to end production outright.” Recently, Reuters reported that Chrysler would pay the company that makes the Crossfire to reduce the contracted output volume. The Crossfire sits on the lot for an average of 302 days. Poor sales have been blamed largely on the price of the Crossfire, which many feel is far to high.

I agree way to high. If they priced them in the Mustang's range. I think they would sell a hell of alot more them. But lately i have seen about 3 or 4 of them. On the road the last few weeks. More than i have seen in the last whole year.

My personal opinion is that the Crossfires feel cheap, but cost a lot.

well, with 10 months of production sitting on the lot you just might see a quiet 'fire sale' if the model is completely disco'd.
