I bought on eBay recently a new Chrysler wing badge, as one would see on the front of any new Chrysler vehicle.

Do you guys think it would look good on the hood of my Intrepid? ;)

The Chrysler Intrepids in Canada recieve a circular Golden Chrysler badge on the hood instead of the Dodge Head like the American Dodge Intrepid. I replaced my Chrysler circular badge with a "winged" chrysler emblem. Makes the car look TOTALLY different (way cooler).. will have pics up soon...

Okay, I got the wing badge today. Now I'm wondering if there is anything special I have to do to get the badge off that's on my car now? Is it just affixed with double-sided tape or is there something else holding it on?

Otto? Perhaps you can answer this?

Thanks :) When I get it on, I'll post pics.

badges are usually help on with a 3M double sided tape

Go to your local auto parts or hardware store, explain to them what it's for and they'll have it

I have a roll of the stuff that I got a while back, all you do is clean the badge good with an alcohol prep pad, stick the tape on, trim to fit, clean area on car with another prep pad, pull off the backside of the tape and hold in place for about a minute

Cool, thanks joekd. The only thing is, though, this badge I bought has some plastic mounts on it, since it's usually mounted on the front grill of a Chrysler car or minivan. I guess I'll have to clip those off.

Thanks again for the info. I tried to pry off the hood ornament I have on there now but it seemed like it was held on with a bolt or something. I dunno... I'll putz around with it for a while. :)

use an dremel if you have it and those mounts will grind right off, if you don't have a dremel just use an X-acto knife and take your time

the original badge should still be held on with tape, heat it up with a hairdryer and then it should come right off

Well, I don't think I am going to try to put the badge on until it gets a bit warmer around here. I don't wanna risk the tape not sticking well in the cold. The last thing I need is to be cruising down the highway and have it fly off... or fall off in the car wash. :)
