word. picked up the Mothers gold Clay bar package at advance.

$20 after tax. not so happy about that.

I was worried it would not take of the EXCESSIVE brake dust. It was all around my rear drivers well and around to the passenger side.

Let me tell ya it makes our cars sexy ass anything but. Mor elike it has mass pimples on it. especially on my stone white.

So i used it yesterday and OMG what a miracle. I used windex instead of the spray it omes with cuz its a hell of alot cheaper. spent an hour just doing the trunk, and the top of bumper above license plate from wheel well to wheel well. It looks better than before the dust.

I came out to the car this morning and even in dull light where i clayyed wa shinyer then the rest of the car. and I washed the whole thing last night bigtim. Even used a scrub brush on every inch.

all I have to say is "WOW" and where do I get an industrial sized bar? cuz im going to need another one to do the whole car. and IM not spending twenty bucks on anothe rlittle one.

DEFINATELY reccomend this to anyone wanting to brighten their paint.

Today im getting a buffer so whooooohoooooo.

Yeah, claybars rock........not sure why you used Windex though? Doesn't the kit COME with quick detailer? I could do my car 5 times with that small claybar. Worked amazing for me too.

I'd use a mix of car soap and water in a spray bottle. Save the QD for wiping down your car after a wash. Buying clay from a detailing supplier is much more cost effective than OTC. Please don't say scrubbing when referring to your paint finish... you just made me shudder! :)
