I managed to clean out all the junk I've had collected in the Intrepid over the past few weeks. I never had a chance to clean it out until today. I cleaned out all the junk, vaccumed, cleaned and conditioned the seats and used some of that 'Miguars Nautral Shine' on the dash and door panels. I also added some woodgrain trim from a Concorde. Here are some pictures:

The rest of the pictures seem in a different color, because I turned the flash off.

In a few days, I'll put this guage cluster in:

I have to swap odometers to keep the mileage accurate.

In the future, set your white balance manually on that camera, when you don't use flash. Set it for the current lighting, like sunlight, flourescent, etc, and you won't get that blue cast.

Nice looking interior! Sweet when they are that clean.

I spent at least an hour cleaning the leather. The front were okay, but dirty from my work. I cleaned them really good, then conditioned them. They feel great now, and the car smells great. The back seat was under a cover for a while as I had to take my dog a few places. When I got the back seat, it was filty. But for 10 bucks I really coudlnt complain. If I find a nicer one, I'll buy it. Right now, all cleaned up it looks decent. The seats are in really nice shape for being 12 years old! No rips, tears or cracking.

Keith, if you are coming in the area soon, let me know! We need to have a minimeet! Dave and Busters is only five minutes away from me :)

Matt you ride is looking great!! You also have a 1st gen to be proud of!

Did either one of us make the top 10 list? We should have!

Thanks! Dispite all the trouble, I love this car!

Us 1st gen'rs oughta stand out amongst the 2nd gen cars. A well kept and great looking 1st gen Intrepid looks better than most anything else on the road.

Looks great!
What did you use to do the seats?

I had some Mopar cleaner and conditioner, but it kinda really sucked :p
I used Blue Magic cleaners and conditioner. Its a spray. It actually worked pretty good, but not as good as Lexol. There are a few tiny specks of white paint on the back seat, I guess I'll have to use some of the meguiars cream cleaner stuff, It works good at getting spots like that out.

I put the LHS cluster in. Its okay, but I think I'll be putting the Intrepid guages back in soon. There is a noticeable gap between the cluster and the cluster bezel. But it looks kinda neat in the Intrepid:

I got a question will the second gen cluster fit in the first gen? If not then dose the first gen have gauges we can add, that light up a diffrent color at night or somthing?

I'm probabily going to take the cluster out, that gap between the cluster and the bezel, while small, is annoying to me. I really like the Mopar black cluster displays, but in the Intrepid it just seems odd. Maybe because I'm just used to the whitefaced ones.

The leather seats are nice and comfortable, but I may ditch them for a split bench seat again, or I'll just drive the Sable (grannymobile) :) . I try my best to keep them clean so they dont get all torn and nasty. In the summer, they can become quite the ass fryers. :flame:

A second gen cluster will not fit. The clusters on these cars are run by the BCM. 1st and second gen BCMs are different. I'd love to have a 300M cluster in the Intrepid.
