Is there a way for a guy or gal to clean the throttle bodies on the 3.5 effectively? Do you have to remove them to do it? I guess I've never done this yet (126,000 miles) and this procedure is highly recommended on these motors.
I usually spray carb cleaner down the intake while the engine is on and compensate for the motor wanted to die... I do it for around 30 to 60 seconds, then I really spray it, then let it die while spraying.. Walk away for a few minutes, then repeat the above process...
Another thing you could try is to slip the intake off the back of the throttle bodies and clean whem with a rag soaked in carb clean. That would get the major stuff off. Then spray it in the intake while the motor is running. I think i need to do mine too. See what happens.
