Ok, so I just got my wood/leather wheel in the mail today, and it has the radio controls. My current steering wheel (01 R/T) does not have the audio controls, and at first I was just going to stick with messing with the radio with my hands, but after driving a few cars with the audio controls on the wheel I've decided I'd like them.
So, my question is, for me to be able to use the wheel controls, am I just going to have to switch out my original clockspring with one that can support the controls? I was doing some searching and found that the 2000 and previous BCM's don't have the control for them, so I'm thinking that all I am going to need is a clockspring with audio controls? Thanks for any info in advance.
