The classic code 43....cylinder misfire.Changing plugs and wires sure couldn't hurt.I had the same thing happen off and on for awhile and it was pissing me off! :monkeypis .Although the plugs had been changed and gapped correctly, the wires were the original ones that came with the car and it had 140,000 miles on it.I changed the wires out and fixed my code 43.The #3 wire had a noticeable cut in it and was the cause of my problems. So,just a thought and hope this helps in some small way.Good luck.

Code 43 is a *****. Could be plugs/wires/coil pack but often I think it turns out to be intake manifold gaskets, particularly the lower intake manifold gasket but there are other sources of code 43 as well.

plugs, wires, coil, intake gasket leak are all causes of code 43... it'd be helpful if you posted your year and engine size
