About a month ago i cut out the bottom of my air box so pretty much my whole air filter is exposed. I never really noticed a difference until lately. Since it has been gettin colder out i have noticed a small power gain from the mod.....gotta love cheap mods that can make a difference.

doood! them airboxes aint cheap man...replacing that sucker is gonna be a pretty penny. do gotta admit though, the car runs quicker in the cooler months...want another el cheapo upgrade? remove the passenger side turn signal housing...the air comes in through a hole behind there...

I was at the track last night ran a 16.180 +-.020 don't have the slip here at work, then I took out the light to see what it would do. It put me all the way down to a 12.0, no just thinking I was running a Honda or something there. Actually I ran a 16.209 +-.020. So I saw no difference. I won't say it was slower because the track was so cold I was breaking loose like crazy. But last time I went it was 25 degrees warmer and I replaced my spark plug tubes ($70), spark plugs($10), wires($125), and intake plenum gasket ($1.25). That was a fun job. 5 hours later I was ready to go race.
