I recently conducted a cylinder compression test on my 2000 Dodge Intrepid ES with the 3.2L engine and the readings were higher than I had expected:

Cylinder 1: 195-200 PSI
Cylinder 2: 200 PSI
Cylinder 3: 200 PSI
Cylinder 4: 180-185 PSI
Cylinder 5: 200 PSI
Cylinder 6: 200 PSI

I'm wondering if I did something wrong, or if that is a pressure reading anyone else has ever gotten?

I'm not an expert on the subject, but the FSM says good if above 100 psi with no more than 25% variation.

I searched these forums on "compression +psi", and it looks like 200 psi is in the expected range - for example, this thread (Dan/Daytrepper is an expert): Compression Test Results
