This is a bit annoying. When I engage the cruise, it gives the engine too much throttle, so instead of a nice seamless transition like my Grand Caravan, I get a lurch in accelleration and an unnecessary downshift before it settles down.

There must be something wrong with it. How can I fix it?

Cheers,

Joe

This is caused by setting the cruise with your foot off the accel. pedal. the cruise thinks that there is slack in the cable and compensates. To unlearn this condition push the set switch while maintaining speed with the pedal and pressing the off switch after 10 seconds. Do this 10-15 times to completely unlearn this condition.

No, I always set it with my foot on the throttle, the same way I do on my Grand Caravan.

Do I hold the set switch down for 10 secs. and then press the off switch?
