My tranny went without warning Friday. I was gonna head to work and the car wouldn't get outta second gear! (limp mode?). I am about to have it hauled to a transmission shop. I needed to share my grief with someone who would understand! Sorry I gotta go before I cry.

That happend to my intrepid 5 months ago had to shell out 2grand for replacment i feel youre sorrow

My car is STILL in the shop. They replaced my Tranny with a dud, and the replacement died right away also

yep. and atcually, the tranny only had 20K on it as it was. the people before me filled up with Dexron, killed the original tranny at 60K. got a new one, filled up with ATF+3. I changed the fluid when I got it (mopar ATF+3) and it ran nice. Then one of the planetary gears broke! Not your usual tranny problem. But still, only 20K on that tranny. not warrentied because I am not original purchaser...
