Has anyone debadged their Intrepid yet, without messing up the paint? I'm thinking about doing it, but I think I'd like some advice or comments first. I have a 94 ES, black, with the driftwood ground effects (if ou want to call them that). I am also thinking about painting the "ground effects" black to give it a better look. Does anyone have any words of wisdom before I farm up the paint on my car? Thanks :)

I finished debadging tonight, and I used a bug and tar remover by Lifter1, it worked great just don't let the stuff dry on your car. I also used a plastic putty knife to work the adhesive loose as wel. I'm going to try and take off the side rubrails tomorrow.

has anyone ever tried to remove the plastic side moldings along the sides of the first gens?

plus, those side moldings save your doors from dings. I pulled up in a Stratusphere meet last year and the guy next to me got out and rammed his door into mine. Thank god we have those moldings, or I would have had one helluva ding.

Personal preference, IMHO, but remember the consequences of it.
