Hey fellas,

I recently installed a single subwoofer with a single amp and plan to change out the amp and add an additional subwoofer to the mix. Basically heres what I have now:

Rockford Fosgate P2002 Amplifier
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-olzFPT8jbmn/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=100&I=575P2002&search=p2002

Rockford Fosgate P110S4 Subwoofer
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-olzFPT8jbmn/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=p110s4&i=575P110S4

And this is what I want to end up with:

Rockford Fosgate P3001 Amplifier
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-olzFPT8jbmn/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=p3001&i=575P3001

Rockford Fosgate P110S4 Subwoofer (buying 1 more to have 2 subwoofers)
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-olzFPT8jbmn/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=p110s4&i=575P110S4

I tried talking to Crutchfield about how to wire it up, but I am a little confused still. I tried drawing it out and thinking all electrically but I'd love to have a simple solution or a for dummies explanation given. Basically I want to know what speaker output do i want to which subwoofer terminal, etc. I'm figuring I have to cut into the wires and splice them together somehow but there has to be an easier way. I'd appreciate and help you can give. Also, as of now I plan on having 2 seperate boxes, so if i can I want the wiring to be easily hideable and be able to span a short distance of about 3-4 feet. Thanks!

Josiah

I'll probably use the other amp to drive my front speakers if i can.

Thats exactly what they sent me to and I have very little idea of what those actually mean. I see one line and then 2 and what does that mean? How do i connect the amplifier to 2 subwoofers? I need an explanation.

Ok I think I understand what the guy at crutchfield was talking about. He said I would be able to basically connect to one sub, and the connect the one sub to the other sub. Is this correct? I made a ghetto diagram of it, let me know what you guys think of this wiring and if it would work properly.

So I'm connecting the box terminal to the sub terminal the same way, but I'm connecting "on the way" to the other subwoofer, right?

Sorry about the pic, i know its small.

Thanks!

well i personally would get a better amp, you can have one wiht just as much or more power for basicially the same price. also the one you have and are bying are both 2 channel, so you can wire each sub independantly. but i would go for a better mono 2 channel amp and some nicer subs for the same price which can handle a little more power and are better quality. thats just me though
