well this is a guy who goes to kent tech with me. He just got done putting some mods on his sentra and thought he could beat me. I laughed at him and he got mad and challenged me so we went out on 28th street.

stoped at a stop light and gunned it. he beat me off the lines and was ahead for about a sec. then my 2nd gear kicked in and i past him easily. the rest of the way he gradually got farther and farther away till i figured i've proved my point and slowed down.

You're lucky it wasn't a 1991 Sentra SE-R. No Intrepid would have a chance with those cars, unless you are driving an R/T. Bone stock they throw down low to mid 15s with some factory freaks pulling mid 14s.

Good kill in your case though.

Yes i think i accidentally raced one of those the other night not knowing what i was getting into. It was all dirty and shitty looking and he wanted to race. Needless to say he walked all over me...i beat him off the line till he shifted into second then he was gone...i got my ass handed to me by an ugly Nissan heh

I'm from Dorr (about 10 miles south of GR). My parent's still live there. I moved to Detroit area about a year ago, but want to move back to the GR area.

When you said 28th street I just had to ask.

Si is also from that area. He seems to find plenty of people to race, especially down Chicago Drive.

Somebody say SE-R.. yup they're fast and overlooked.. i'm glad. anyway we've had a 96 intrepid ES 3.5 in our family since almost new and we love it..
