I will hopefully post some newer pics next week after another coat of Zaino.

Im still debating if I should get a spoiler or not. I really do not like the factory spoiler. I was originally thinking about getting this one....

What do you think?

Yeah i guess its just a question of having enough balls to get it done.... I have full trust in the body shop I use to have them paint and install it properly.... i guess im just debating how it will look.

It gives the car a more "Eclipse" look... which definitely is not bad at all.

Im definitely no expert... but isnt it likely that this new spoiler will have different locations to drill the new spoiler compared to the one you have now?

If thats the case... you are going to have some visable holes in your trunk. :)

As far as replacing your trunk.... now that can get expensive. Also... unless your paint is in mint condition.... you may be able to notice that the trunk is "newer" than the rest of the car based on its color.

If I don't get a spoiler within the next few months, im never getting one because ill have a harder time matching the paint.

I dunno... sounds like replacing a spoiler can be a real pain in the ass.... i would only do it if you think the spoiler you have on there now MUST go. :)

Here's an offtopic question. How come when i look at this thread... the pic of my R/T now comes up with a red X mark instead of the picture. I am pointing to the site that has my picture uploaded.

I dunno maybe the site i use (freeservers.com) is just crap.

I have a spoiler on mine, adn I love it. One of these days, I'll get off my butt and put up some pics.

Mine is a 2000 R/T, Black Clear Coat..With the Mopar spoiler. Not that nice rounded one, but the blah straight one. Yeah, I like the rounded one better too, but too late now!

You like white meat?

Randy, your best bet would be to find someone who would want your spoiler (who has a bare trunk) and have them switch trunks with you and plus have them give you a couple bucks since they are getting a spoiler out of the deal. That way you get a trunk with no holes in it and the body shop won't have to fill any holes, plus you get some cash from whoever you trade with to cover the cost of the installation of the new spoiler. It would only work if you are trading with someone who has the same color car though....post it in the trade section! I'll bet you get some bites!

I'm having that "Eclipse" (or Taurus, gah!) spoiler installed tomarrow.

$99 for the spoiler (shipping inclusive)
$200 + tax for paint/install at my local Dodge Dealer.

I'll try to get some pics taken/scanned/sent to Randy for uploading by Tuesday night. (Hopefully my Zainos will be here by then.)

Tint goes on today too. :)

Actually I like the straight one better myself.. personal preferance I guess. Too me the curved one is just too narrow. I like how the straight one goes out over the edges of the trunk lid higher up making the back end appear to be taller. Little more agressive I guess.
