- Thanks to Thrasher for getting the picture for me on the hook up, hooked it up last night and its working great. I did replace the inside reading lights with the Piaa bulbs and now I have a nice white lights. The only thing I have to do is clean up the wiring a bit and re-install the visors (a five minute job). I think my co-worker thought I was nuts when I started my happy dance in the parking lot.
Overhead Trip Information System (OTIS)- it sits between your sunvisors and displays things like outside air temp, compass heading, distance to empty, average fuel economy, instant fuel economy and a trip odometer. It also houses the universal transmitter to control garage door openers.
AND, if you get lucky enough to get a model from a super duper deluxe 300M that had an OTIX, it will do even more. They have been quite the add-on for those of us that have 00 and 01 R/T's because WE couldn't order them as an option.
aaaw damn, you guys are hella funny. I was like WTF is OTIS too? aaaw damn you guys are hilarious! I though this was like some type of secret experiment. Yeah, my 99 ES got one, the R/T don't come with one, right? Sounds like a ***** to install? Later guys!
