Anyways, yesterday my passenger side front door power lock motor started making a lot of noise when I lock the doors.

It is making a very loud grinding/groaning noise.

However, the door is locking and unlocking fine.

Going to look at it this weekend, any ideas?

I'm not sure- just a guess, the actuator maybe going out.

ya wanna know something funny my driver side started doing the same thing yesterday and now it doesn't lock unless i lock it by hand so i'm taking it in for warrenty on friday for that and my door rubbers falling off

BTW, it only makes the noise when locking, not unlocking.

hopefully as the design ages the door lock actuators don't become a problem like the power window motors...esh that would suck.

welp i took in the trep for the warrenty work on the door last friday
turns out the whole assembly is screwed not just the actuator.
so there ordering me a new one and well it's not preaty it's about $185.00 cdn. lucky it's covered under warrenty

Me and my dad fixed mine today. We had to replace the whole motor. Luckily it was only $81 from the dealer
