I am posting becaus I have gotten word that we are definitely going to go ahead and get an intake made for your cars. I need a prototype for the 3.5L R/T & 3.5L(1Gen) in the Santa Maria, CA area to call the following number and let him know you are interested in being the car. You will get your intake at a discounted price and will need to be present for probably a day or two to get the R & D done. We will also be offering a rear sway bar if we could get someone to donate the sway bar off their car for approx. 4-6 weeks for R & D. Call the number below:

It has always been my understanding that "donor" cars are given free parts, not discounted especially when the final release price is so inexpensive (under $200)

Well, Im not even 100% sure where Santa Maria is? I live in San Jose, Ca. It's about 60 miles south of san francisco. How long did you say you needed for the intake? If no one else can, I'd do it, if its not TOO far away, Im not looking at going to SoCal anytime soon. mabey for that all Mopar meet, but im not sure when that is...

If they are just looking for the intake and not a whole car then maybe we could pool our money together and get one from a junk yard or something so they could do their R&D. It may be easier for everyone to throw in $10 now instead of having someone surrender their vehicle for a given time period. :)

MoparHead, I have actually lived all over the area. For a while, I lived near campbell, by foxworthy and union. more major x-street would be bascom and camden. then I lived up in santa clara. Now I live near Santa Theresa Hospital, south san jose. is that supposed to be Silvercreek drive? Is that in willow glenn? Im always out and about. Next time youre out to visit your relatives, lemme know, we kan get together and talk about our Treps.

Im glad to hear someone is willing to give up their car down there. I cant afford a trip to the LA area right now.

My father in law actually works for the Santa Clara DOC . . . no sh**!!

Sounds good to me! I will let you know when I am west coast bound again!

Actually, Bat, my dad [49] talks about old days of that place. I have heard some interesting stories. I cant remember anything specific, but this was back when he was in his 20's [early 1970's?]

He went to Cubberly High School, in Palo Alto. He said that Carlos Santana lived right next to there, and he knew him, when he was just part of a garage band!!
