I would like to know if you find out anything on this. I would like to have daytime running lights on my Concorde. I have found if you take out the marker lamp fuse all it effects is the dash nighttime lights and the outside markers, so it looks like you have daytime running lights on your car if you turn on your headlights!
I believe it was EagleVision993 who has them. Basically DRL's use the high beams of your headlights, but at a lower wattage so as not to blind people during the day. Check out a car with them that has seperate bulbs for highs and lows. With DRLs it will use the high bulb. This is basically for visual purposes as the highs are more visable during the day but not to blind oncoming drivers.
I have done this mod and I like the look and the additional benefits of beeing seen earlier on the road.
Actually it is a quite simple mod,but only if you know what you have to do.
I installed the original Chrysler DRL module, but maybe you could also get an aftermarket solution. The original module uses the hgh beam at reduced intensity as the light source.
Firstly, you need the (original) daytime running light module which should be available at your dealer or you get one from the junkyard. They are all the same in all first gen LH cars.
Now you need the wiring schematics (which I could send you if you need them) to know the connector layout.
Finally you connect the DRL module to ground, power, highbeam filament ,lowbeam filament (to switch the drl module off when you turn your lows on) and ignition.
Furthermore you connect the drl module to the park brake lever switch .This makes the drl go on and off when you release or set the brake.
Huh....maybe not even that fast mod....but doable...
I'm looking at buying a 94 Vision for parts. It's supposed to be loaded. But now I'm thinking of just driving it. It has 240,000 km, electric leather seats, (my Trep has driver side electric leather)working a/c (not verified), RKE, Otis 16" rims. Not sure if it is a 3.3 or 3.5 but I take it...
I want to replace the orginal weak headlight bulbs on my 96 Eagle Vision
with super bright versions.
But when I try to remove the 2 (per unit) torx screws to pull off the cover I run into trouble
The torx head of both screws on the left unit are striped, and the torx head of the screwdrive...
OK, First off let me say Hi to everyone thats on this form. I am brand new to it.

Ok i thought i like to get this off on a good start with a great bunch of owners here. The 96 i just bought the p/o has a jumper wire wired from the starter to when you turn on the key to the on you hit the wire to the positive side of the battery terminal. Is this a sign of a bad ignition...
