since I last posted I swapped out the 2.7 for the 3.2 it went great, the only problem I am having is that the crank position censor wires were cut at the plug, I soldered it back on, now I get a low ohm lost position code. is there a fix for this? or is this a new wire harness time? thanks.

Double check your soldering job. If the wires are making contact to the wires they should be, and are properly covered, there shouldn't be a difference.

Was the sensor ever removed? Maybe it wasn't installed properly.
