I was wondering where everyone finds the additional emblems for their cars. I see Buschman has the R/T emblem on his 'Trep, and I've been considering doing the same. I would actually like to get the same type of emblems that are on the new R/T's. I need all chrome Dodge lettering, the R/T emblem, and I wouldn't mind finding the "3.5L V6 Magnum" tag too.
Can these things be found at a local dealership and what kind of cost am I looking at?
One last question. Is there any suggesed way to prime the surface of the car before attaching new emblems?

You should be able to get the emblems through a dealer. I'm not sure on the price.

I just made sure the surface was relatively clean before attaching the emblems.

how to the emblems attach? are they adhesive-backed or do you have to drill in and then put a rivet or something in to keep it on?

i ask because i've been thinking of adding a 3.5 magnum badge to my car. where i don't know.

i think they just have adhesive on the back.

Yeah, they should just be an adhesive back, and you should be able to purchase them at any dealer. As far as prices go? You know what them dealers charge.


For installation, I would suggest cleaning the area with some "Bug and Tar" remover to clean the area, then go over that with a cotton ball of rubbing alcohol. That will remove all the dirt, grime, and wax. Then stick away.

I check my dealer and it's 40 bucks for one chrome R/T like Buschmans. 70 dollars for the cool trunk Intrepid R/T. 230 dollars for the neon R/T package which includes the rally stripes...only they wont work or course. Which reminds me ..I'm slated to get some graffix this month. I was going to go with the typical Dodge rally strips. But the question is white, silver or flip flop purple to blue or purple to green?
Any suggestions?

They are indeed adhesive. I've added four emblems to my car (big R/T on trunk, 3.5 Magnum on side rear door thingies, and small R/T on front bumper).
