I just got my gasket in my oil pan replaced cause there was a leak somewhere. Now I have a engine "groan" between 2100 and 2500 rpm's. This groan is felt on my right foot and is easily heard. It occurs at those exact rpm's in any gear. How could that be? Any ideas?

I know its EXCEPTIONALLY weird, I remember when my boss and I used to go to clients in my car (He is 320 pounds) it used to do it more!??!?!? Go figure huh?

One thing which may be more benificial is that it could be your Harmonic Balancer, I would safely put money on it been that in your case than my weird variation.. Good luck! If you need more info just holla..

Hey,

Here is a detailed description of what
a Harmonic Balancer does, go here

They are not a cheap part so you really must be 100% certain ! But hey, you pay the dealer for such duties! :)

Its location is the largest pully on your engine, the one which goes straight from the
crank shaft.. I`ll try and get a pic for you..

Hope it helps..
