I noticed this noise not long after changing the water pump and timing belt. 3.5 with ~275k miles. I do t notice any performance drop, but I also don’t drive it very hard (anymore).

That’s a new sound to me. Did you replace the timing belt tensioner and pulley as well? Were all the parts OEM Mopar? Also what prompted you to change the waterpump and timing belt?

There have been some reported cases where the replacement water pump pulley touches the tin front cover. That is something to check if the noise is "new" since the job was done.

No, i did not. The parts were not bought from Mopar, and the waterpump failed.

That’s not rod bearing noise (changes with engine speed and accel/decel)?
